Seoul Garden Ngee Ann City Venue for the latest NJRC refs' gathering as a prelude to the upcoming chalet in December. Outing proposed by yours truly but organised by Madame Secretary herself as usual. We've also took the opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of two lovely ladies - Pei Hui and Abe. Happy Birthday gals!! Cheers.
Seoul garden - Steamboat BBQ Korean Style!
Arrived late cos the members of the congregation were very much "punctual". In their own context anyway.
Had to queue up for quite some time cos there wasn't any table big enuff to accommodate the ten of us.
The group were in two minds deciding whether to wait or to move on to another place but lucky for us, just at the last minute they managed to dig us a table or two.
And just as we were about to leave at that.
Just in time man!

The group was split into two adjoining tables.
One for the Spicy-eaters.
The other for non-Spicy eaters.
Of cos the Malay boys were 'pushed' to the Spicy table.

Oh btw...dear Wendy can really eat man! We just kept dishing up the meat on her plate and it was like GONE in a few seconds. Hahah....Cool!!
And this is how we dissect the poor little prawn. Not enough being drown by Pei Hui beforehand...now they're being skinned!! So unfortunate that the valiant efforts of both Zye and me cant managed to save those poor little prawns. Oh well...if you cant save em, eat em!

As you can see...we had quite a spread. Everything from chicken to meat to fish. We even had mussels man! Yup that kind of shellfish i used to harvest during my kampung days just downstream from my village's public 'toilets'. Its a wonder i never ate one of those. Shhh....

Yeah time to cut the cake. Because the guys didnt wana cut the cake at Seoul Garden itself, we had to find an alternative place. After a non-existent debate, we ended up on the steps of Taka near where the fountain was. Cool man. Cutting cake outdoors under the blanket of stars. Sigh...
